it's an online fitness web site full of workout videos with much of the focus being on women and healing their core, sometimes when they don't realize it's damaged. but not the typical "kick your butt" "shred your body" "make it submit" kind of work outs. Beth definitely encourages to be thankful for the body you've been blessed with and happy about all the amazing things it has done (including carry children). her workouts start very short and gentle and increase gradually to avoid injury or problems, with it centered around "form follows function" and correcting posture and movements to make you stronger and flatter. no, i'm not getting anything from Beth for this. i'm just really loving her workouts and want to encourage others to ignore the current "crunches" idea and really learn about how your body works! seriously, possibly the best $10 i spend every month (way cheaper than a gym!)

- Proverbs 15 -
seriously, my new go to chapter. a wealth of bite size pieces of anything i could need throughout my day. my current favorites are...
v. 15 "all the days of the afflicted are bad, but a cheerful heart has a continual feast"
v. 19 "The way of the lazy is as a hedge of thorns, But the path of the upright is a highway."
v. 23 "A man has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word!"
for my attitude (3,13,15,16,18,30,33)

so, we've been a bit flustered with netflix since they dropped backyardigans and the electric company (two of the boys' favorite shows). but we are so happy they have picked up this pbs show about animals and why they are the way they are. and while they fail to give God the credit due Him for His amazing creation, they do pretty well at making facts about animals fun and a little goofy.

and counting down the days until one of my dearest friends and sister in Christ (and the rest of her wonderful little family) role into town to stay with us for an entire week! it's been 2 years since i've seen this girl face to face, so Lord willing and the creek don't rise (a little midwest humor there for ya. ok, anyway) come the end of the month, i will be entirely sleep deprived due to long days and late nights catching up with my sister from Nevada!
praise the Lord for all the little things He puts in our lives to make us smile!
