lemon cream cheese frosting

best. frosting. ever.

seriously.  and possibly easiest frosting ever.

i came across it when i spotted a pin (on Pinterest) for carrot and zucchini bars

that recipe is pretty fantastic as well.  but back to the frosting.  like it said before.  easy.

Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting:
8 oz package of cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 t. lemon zest

throw it all in the mixer and beat the crud out of it until it is smooth and fluffy.

this is so good on just about anything.

loved it on the carrot and zucchini bars.

tasty on banana bread.

good grief, this stuff would be lovely smeared on a graham cracker!

wish i had pretty pictures for you of it all piled up in lovely pillows...

but... it's gone.  yep.  and seeing as how it's not the most healthy thing i make, i thought i need to wait a while before whipping up another batch.

after all, it seems i will be needing to fit into a bridesmaid dress this summer.  ;)
