a little bit of everything

So this week has been such blessing from God. Nick got to feeling better a lot faster than either of us expected him to. We think it's because he was able to keep hydrated better than the previous chemo cycle. Hooray, that was the last of the chemo; at least as far as we can expect for now.

Who needs socks... or pants...
Isaac has been quite a ham, as usual. He loves to "help" with everything from watering the plants (and himself a bit), to running the vacuum, to cleaning the floors. He's perfecting his jumping skills daily. He jumps when he dances, he jumps when he's excited, sometimes he jumps just for the fun of jumping. Today, he was working on jumping forward as opposed to strait up and down. But by far, his favorite thing is to go for walks. Doesn't care where we go or how long we are gone or where we walk at. In fact, as soon as i get out the stroller, he cheers and jumps up and down.

So he really, really likes oreos; if you can't tell...

The walking has actually become my new "hobby", if i can call it that. Ok, so it's more to try and bring on this kid. We've been walking at the local mall for the most part, due to the fact that it is one of the few enclosed malls in the valley and the days have been getting kind of hot, mostly staying in the 90's but sometimes hitting triple digets. Thursday evening Nick came on a walk with us and we did a couple loops of the mall and then got some ice cream. It was a lot of fun to spend time together as a family. Today we drove down to the strip and walked a couple of the big casinos. Note: New York, New York and the Monte Carlo don't have much for shops, so very limited non-smoking areas. :( But we still had a lot of fun!

Sporting Mama's bling!

Other than that, life is actually a little slow for us at the moment. Kind of a nice change of pace.
